- Summary: This card from AT&T and Citibank is a great convenience for those who want to carry fewer cards and have one card to use for their credit card and calling card all in one. No more hassling with having to go to your local convenience store and purchasing an over-priced calling card. You also have a few other options to pick from with the ATT Universal Card - one of the cards you may choose from is for Thank You Points. One of the disadvantages of this card is the maximum per year and of course the hassle with the Thank You network. Thank You Redemptions Network online catalog let you pick from many great rewards including Ipods and cool electronics. The 0% APR on balance transfers for up to 12 months is the best in the credit card business. Citibank lets you know upfront that you will pay for balance transfer fees with this offer initially. That is what makes this ATT Universal card so popular with consumers!
- Another
neat feature to carry this card in your wallet is
the FREE Phone Services with this card: Up to 30 free phone minutes per month,
anytime, anywhere!
- Up to 10% savings for the first 12 months on AT&T purchases
- 1 ThankYou Point for every dollar you spend on non-AT&T purchases
- 0% APR* on Balance Transfers for up to 12 months
- No Annual Fee
- Plus AT&T calling benefits: Up to 30 free phone minutes each month; 2 free directory assistance inquiries per month and other wireless benefits

Do you have to select AT&T
as your long distance provider to benefit from this
rewards credit card?
No. You can use this card to pay your
Bell South, SBC, Sprint, Tmobile, Verizon, PacBell,
or any other telecommunications bills that you can pay
via credit card. Although, the calling card part of
the credit card only uses access to AT&T's international
calling network.
How to use your new ATT Universal
Credit Card and use it as a Calling Card:
Dial 1 800-CALL-ATT® and enter the
calling card number on your AT&T Universal Card
and your 4-digit PIN.
Then just pay 35 cents per minute with
no monthly charge for domestic calling card calls. AT&T
will add a surcharge for calling card calls originating
from pay phones. Call 1 800-CALL-ATT® for the current
pay phone surcharge amount. Universal Connectivity charge
also applies.
ATT Universal Cash Card Review
We are now only offering the ATT Universal Card with "thank you" points instead of cash. ATT Universal Cash Card
offers cash back rewards starting at 5% cash back
on purchases almost until the end of the year. AT&T
and Citibank will then send you a $100 check once
you have reached $100 in rewards points. I would suggest
you transfer any outstanding balances to this card
and use this card until the end of the 12 month period until
you max out your benefits for this card. You can now save money at gas stations qualifying this card for one of our favorite gas rebate cards but there is one bad point about this card: the maximum savings allowed per account is $350 per calendar year. You can earn 1 ThankYou Point for every dollar spent on non-AT&T purchases, up to 50,000 per calendar year, that can be redeemed for gift cards, travel, electronics and more.
Also try the Universal
Card from Chase - be more "Universal" in your rewards strategy.
